Emeric Durand is the founder, publisher, and lead developer of Shotinger. With extensive experience in computer vision, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering, he created Shotinger to eliminate the prohibitive cost, logistical complexity, and turnaround delays of commercial product photoshoots.

As director of publication (Legal Notice), Emeric oversees all technical research, benchmark testing, and guides published across the Shotinger knowledge base. His work focuses on:

• Garment & Material Fidelity: Neural image processing techniques preserving fabric drape, weave texture, and accurate Pantone colorways.
• Specular & Optical Physics: Macro reflection reconstruction on precious metals, cut gemstones, and transparent glass.
• Commercial Conversion Optimization: Data-backed frameworks for on-model vs. flat-lay photography on Shopify, Amazon, and DTC channels.
