We tell the account holder what happened and why, in a statement of reasons under article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, which sets out what was affected, the ground for the decision, whether automated means were used, and how to contest it.
Counter-notice (DMCA). If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to contact@shotinger.com with:
- your signature, physical or electronic;
- identification of the removed content and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address, and telephone number;
- consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of your district if you are in the United States, or of the courts of France otherwise, and consent to accept service from the person who filed the notice.
We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. Where the DMCA applies, we may restore the content after 10 to 14 business days unless we are told that proceedings have been filed.
Internal review. Whatever the legal route, you may ask us to reconsider any moderation decision by writing to contact@shotinger.com within 6 months. Review is carried out by a person, not by automated means alone. We do not charge for it.
